MULTI-CURRENCY PRICING FAQS
What is Multi Currency Pricing (MCP)?
You (the Travel Provider) set up products on your website in your base currency. This is the currency you wish to operate with and receive settlement with.
We give your customers the ability to pay in a variety of alternative currencies that is local to your customers, giving you the ability to make your website seem local to the customer and improving your sales conversions.
Once paid in a different currency, You (the Travel Provider) receive their funds in full with no further costs (except any charges as per your contract for the processing of the transaction)
For example:
A traveller books a 100 USD tour on your website.
When paying, they choose to pay in their local currency EURO
The FX rate is converted behind the scenes to, for example, 92 Euros.
The customer pays 92 Euros and You (the Travel Provider) still receive 100 USD (minus any charges as per your contract for the processing of the transaction)
What happens when an MCP transaction is refunded?
We take on the FX risk, and the rate at the time of the transaction is honoured for any refunds that might occur at a later date.
